Four family members charged in alleged Amsterdam crime spree

A crime spree allegedly committed by one family between Christmas and Thursday came to an end Friday after four people were arrested.

Police charged:

• Terri-Jo Green, 41, with endangering the welfare of a child.

• William J. Dingman, 18, Green's son, with attempted robbery, conspiracy and criminal facilitation, all felonies, and misdemeanor assault.

• Robert W. Green, 17, another son of Terri-Jo Green, with attempted robbery and criminal mischief, both felonies, and criminal facilitation, conspiracy and assault, all misdemeanors.

• An unidentified 14-year-old boy, with attempted robbery, a felony, and misdemeanor assault and conspiracy.

Police said the three youths assaulted a male victim while attempting to steal his bike. They also said the suspects assaulted a young girl and shot out car windows with a pellet gun.

Dingman and Robert Green were sent to the Montgomery County jail without bail, while the juvenile was released to a guardian and will appear in Montgomery County Family Court.
