Covid reveals who selfish people are

One good thing about the coronavirus. You can tell the difference between intelligent, considerate people versus stupid, selfish people.
Intelligent people are wearing masks.

Trump is derelict by his fealty to Russia

As a U.S. Navy veteran (1974-1978) who grew up under the looming threat of the late USSR, I’ve been appalled by President Trump’s weird relationship with Vladimir Putin.
Really. One on one tête-à-têtes with Putin, no notes taken. Late-night phone calls to the Kremlin.
Giving the strongman anything he wants in return for nothing in the U.S. interest.
Yank our troops out of Syria abandoning our gallant Kurdish allies? No problem.
Bring 9,000 troops home from Germany damaging NATO readiness? Done.
Publicly absolving Putin of any interference in the 2016 presidential election? Never happened. Vlad told me so himself. These are very strange and disturbing goings on.
Now comes this outrageous revelation that the Russians have not only been providing the Taliban with the means to prosecute their war against us in Afghanistan, but Putin has turned the Taliban into a crew of hit men with a contract on every American service member deployed to Afghanistan.
And come to find out on the front page of the New York Times that our intelligence agencies knew about this and frantically tried to alert the president.
Trump responds: “I didn’t get that memo.”
Some Commander-in-Chief. Derelict-in-Chief is more like it.

DeLorenzo is a vote for change in Albany

Have we created a career politician with Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara?
Mr. Santabarbara says he wants to cut taxes, yet he and his buddies in Albany keep spending and spending. It’s not their checkbook that pays; it’s the taxpayers’.
What Mr. Santabarbara and his Albany friends don’t realize is that in order to cut taxes, you must cut spending.
Paul DeLorenzo has been in business over 20 years. He has the experience and knows how to cut spending and taxes. He’s not afraid to stand-up to the establishment in Albany.
Let’s vote for a real change, and vote for Paul DeLorenzo.
Joseph Dambrosio
